When Insulation Needs to Come Out Before It Goes Back In
Not every attic or wall just needs a top-up. How It Works
Vacuum Extraction, Not a Shovel and a Garbage Bag
We use industrial vacuum equipment connected by hose from the attic or wall cavity to a sealed collection unit, usually staged outside or in a garage. Loose-fill cellulose or fiberglass, along with debris mixed into it, is pulled directly into containment instead of being bagged by hand inside the attic. That is faster on larger jobs and keeps material and dust from tracking through the living space on the way out.
A roof leak, ice damming backup, or plumbing failure has soaked the insulation. Droppings, nesting material, or odour from rodents or other pests mean the existing insulation should be removed.
